How to get the look of Windows 8 in Windows 7 for free
The launch of Windows 8 seems to be getting closer, I mention this because almost every week there are new details of what will this new version of the Microsoft operating system will look like. For this and more reasons graphic designers and some developers are publishing themes and applications that aim to give a "feeling" similar to Windows 8.
As many of you know, thanks to utilities like Rainmeter that can customize our look and feel in a Windows 7, in this case, to make them look more appealing and above all, a look that is similar to that of the future Windows 8. While there are a number of possibilities, Omnimo is still a great option to transform your desktop.
On the other hand, we can find the deviantART package called Zetros UI. It is also being carefully constructed, gives us some different wallpapers, a completely renovated Home button Metro window styles and window controls that are consistent with the interface. To those who want even more customization, Styler is the solution, as this implementation gives us several options to change the shadows, fonts, styles, taskbar and much more.
If despite everything, you still want to alter other things such as the login screen, the widgets and the start button, we have to resort to applications like Windows 7 Logon Changer, HTC Home and StartOrbz respectively. Of course, there are other tools that can also change the visual style of Windows 7, but for me, like those mentioned here are pretty nice and work very well.
