Samsung begins production of 32 Gb RAM modules

ReportApart from its exceptional size, one of the major features of these new reports is that the manufacturing process wil be in 30 nm. We know what that means, lower consumption, greater energy efficiency and less heat, specially when going for that overclock record!
At the moment it was confirmed that the first thing that they will commercialize is a 4 GB DDR3 module, but geared towards notebooks. Upon its arrival for desktop PCs there is currently no details. Although we know they will be modules of 8, 16 and 32 Gb.
In terms of DDR4 memory specifications it is expected to be completed in late 2011, so it could reach the market in late 2012 or 2013.
