Razer Tiamat 7.1 Surround sound for gamers
Razer is one of the largest and most prestigious companies in terms of peripherals dedicated to improving the performance of gamers. The company has mice, keyboards, microphones, gaming controllers and even control their own line of clothing and accessories.
Always looking to gain market share and stay ahead of its competitors, Razer researches and develops from its laboratories in San Diego, USA.
This time Razer wants to proclaim itself as the first company to create headphones with positional audio 7.1 technology. A true marvel, no doubt.
These new headphones called Razer Tiamat 7.1 integrate nothing more nor less than 10 drivers, 5 for each ear. Within these 10 drivers it has 2 woofers, which help to complete this amazing positional 7.1 audio experience.
Speakers:
- 40 mm speaker bass
- 30 mm speaker means
- 20 mm speaker treble
Each driver has a frequency response ranging from 20 to 20,000 Hz, its impedance is 16 ohms and has a sensitivity of approximately 100 to 1200 decibels.
Remote control
From the cable there is a knob where you can adjust the volume of each audio channel. You can also disable and enable the 7.1 surround sound to leave just as stereo. Depending on the stereo 4 sterea drivers, two for each ear.
Microphone
It is clear that listening is not everything, and this is why Razer always implements microphones to their headphones. In this case a folding jaw unidirectional microphone is integrated into the headset. These have a frequency response ranging from 50 to 16,000 Hz plus a sensitivity of 1 kHz.

This device comes in two versions. The first, the Razer Tiamat 7.1 (of which we are talking in particular), which will cost approximately 220 dollars and will go on sale later this year.
