The first performance projections of FX Bulldozer come to light through reviews from AMD, which compares to 2 synthetic test (PCMark Vantage and 3DMark Vantage) Bulldozer AMD FX processor 8-core and Radeon HD 6770 against a Phenom II X6 110T with the same graphics card, the comparison also shows Core i7 2600K with integrated graphics and the family of AMD-based APU based on AMD llano.

In PC Mark Vantage, the AMD FX shows apparently the same performance as Core i7 2300K, while the AMD 3DMark Vantage HD 6670 graphics achieved 4 times higher performance than the Intel platform.

On the other hand the AMD FX 8-cores + HD 6670, reportedly achieves a 20% better performance than Phenom platform II X6 1100T + Radeon HD 6670 in both tests. On other platforms (AMD Llano A-Series) results below the i3 2100 in PCMark Vantage, but achieve better integrated graphics performance in 3DMark Vantage.

Apparently and as seen in the results (not to be conclusive so far) AMD will continue to pursue the performance per dollar, rather than raw processing power. As mentioned this is just a synthetic benchmark we'll see how real AMD Benchmarks do.
