Lenovo sticks with Medion to strengthen its presence in Europe
Lenovo is still partly a stranger to the general public in Europe. China and the U.S. are good markets for them and how they want to do this in the old continent, as they have acquired Medion, a German company well known here.
When the purchase is completed, Lenovo will accelerate its market share both domestically in Germany and western Europe, where it could reach 7.5% of the PC market.
At least at the beginning of the venture together, both brands will retain their structure in both technical and warranty service, distribution channels and even their identification as separate brand.
