Samsung Galaxy Z a Samsung S Galaxy II with reduced benefits

Samsung will launch a smaller version of its impressive Galaxy S II (one of the best phones that can be found on the market today, if not the best). This is Samsung Galaxy Z, a smartphone that will start its adventure in Sweden and could land on our coast in the coming months. This phone will have a very interesting set of specifications and a price considerably lower than its big brother.

As for its size, its screen is 4.2 "(the Galaxy S II has 4.3") and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Where I do notice a difference is that this is a Super Clear LCD, which will place it below the performance of the AMOLED screen Galaxy Super S II. One of the strengths of Galaxy Z is its dual-core processor 1 GHz (presumably the NVIDIA Tegra 2).

Its camera is 5 megapixels (another of the reasons its specifications have diminished) and can record high quality video at 720p. As for connections, we have no official confirmation yet, but everything indicates it will have Wi-Fi, GPS bluetoot 3.0 and, in addition to high-speed 3G connections. The internal memory is 8 gigabytes, expandable to 40 GB by MicroSD card up to 32 GB. Will have Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The dimensions of this handset are 125.3 x 66.1 x of 9.5 mm and its weight will be 135 grams, which is also positioned below the thinnest phone (Galaxy S II or iPhone). The price could be around 435 euros. Ultimately, it has become a become a cheaper alternative to its big brother, with a good set of specifications
