Nexus Prime the next Google phone will be built by Samsung
A while a go we saw the guys at Boy Genius Report gave us the specifications of the following Nexus smartphone range of Google, and this time they venture to tell us who will be responsible for manufacturing, the same as the Nexus S, ie Samsung.
So the company will repeat as a manufacturer stretching its relationship with Google to make its Nexus mobile. The terminal will be release with the new version of the Google operating system, Android 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, and the one in charge of handling everything is a dual-core processor from Texas Instruments, to be exact the OMAP4460 model.
The current project name is Google Nexus Prime, although it is certain to be the final name of the product. The smartphone will come with a high-definition screen at 720p HD Super AMOLED technology.
In addition, Google plans for the arrival of Android 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich which will not be exclusive to a single device, but will also arrive to several devices and manufacturers.
The rest of the technical characteristics which we do not yet know, nor do we know that operators will have this device in their catalog or the price at which will go on sale.
It is expected that the smartphone is set to be released next September, we have to wait until then to see more news to be availble then.
