HTC announced today during CTIA Wireless in Orlando, its EVO HTC 3D Smartphone with Google Android Operating System.

The 3D EVO will be marketed in the U.S. market through Sprint, and is the first Smartphone-3D compatible to be on 4G networks. A device that accompany the LG 3D Optimus and the Sharp Lynx 3D in the discovery of new oppurtunities in ultra portable devices.

The 3D EVO Qualcomm will incorporate a powerful dual-core processor  at 1.2 GHz, SLCD screen 4.3 "QHD to view 3D content without glasses, 5MP camera switchable 2D or 3D mode as required, 1.3 MP front camera and 4GB internal memory (expandable via micro SD card slot).

The user can record 3D video up to 720p (HD) while shooting in 3D and enjoy VoIP calls with its Qik software. HTC has not neglected wireless communications, providing this innovative smartphone in addition to the DLNA standard and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (3.0).

Another surprise is the 3D EVO 1730mAh battery, 1500mAh above the EVO Shift 4G (USA model), and Desire 1230mAh HTC HD (which is currently sold in Europe).

The Gingerbread Google Android released with the phone will be the 2.3 operating system chosen for this device that Sprint recently announced and will benefit from the services of Google Voice.

EVO HTC 3D, which will also feature HDMI, is a heavy terminal 170 grams heavier and almost 12mm thick as its predecessor, with a double-microphone to reduce background noise in voice calls.

Overall the HTC EVO Shift 4G is just about perfect for a midrange smartphone that is both budget friendly and powerful at the same time. It’s hard to find a smartphone in the market that combines these two attributes in one single item but the Shift 4G has done an excellent job balancing power with price.
