The concept of a portable device, whether phone or tablet, has attracted much attention from all of us. We saw the case of Asus Eee Transformer Pad or Atrix Motorola and the possibility of connecting it to a dummy terminal to use as a netbook.

Marz Lokifish However, a user of XDA Developers community has decided to go one step further and made the HTC EVO 4G into a desktop computer using the HDMI connection, a keyboard, bluetooth mouse and some software.

The configuration, which is available on the XDA forum, it is relatively simple. We need to root the HTC Evo 4G and then install CyanogenMod 7 and a few applications to synchronize the keyboard, mouse and adjust the resolution to look good on the monitor.

At the moment this experiment may be carried out only on the lucky HTC Evo 4G mobile.
