Sony presents the compact cameras Cyber82038203-shot TX55 and WX30
Sony started the week with the announcement of two new additions to its family of Cyber-shot digital cameras, the compact TX55 and WX30. Both models make use of Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, a sensor CMOS Exmor R of 16.2 megapixels and can record Full HD (1080p).
The TX55 and WX30 also feature a BIONZ processor, sensitivity up to ISO 3200, optical SteadyShot, 19MB built-in memory card slots for Memory Stick Micro (M2) and microSD / SDHC and a 3D image capture mode.
The DSC-TX55, of 94 grams, has a wide angle lens of 26 mm (5x optical zoom) and a touch screen 3.3-inch OLED, while the DSC-WX30, of 100 grams, features a 25mm wide angle lens LCD touch screen and a 3-inch Xtra Fine.
Both the TX55 as the WX30 will be out in September. TX55 is expected to be priced at $350.
